Step into the world of Schindler’s List on a guided walking tour through the real streets and neighborhoods connected with Kraków’s wartime history and the famous film.
The tour begins outside Oskar Schindler’s former enamel factory on Lipowa Street. Your guide introduces the story of Schindler and the Jewish workers he helped protect during the Nazi occupation.
Continue through Podgórze, the location of the former Nazi German ghetto, and see authentic places connected with both historical events and Spielberg’s film, including the location associated with the famous girl in the red coat scene.
The route then leads to Kazimierz, once the center of Jewish life in Kraków. Walk through historic streets and courtyards used as filming locations while learning about the district’s prewar community and its transformation during and after the war.
