Cultural Handcrafts Tour: Ceramics, Amber & Folk Art

1 hour and 30 minutes

Very easy

Explore Kraków’s handcrafts heritage on a guided Old Town walk. Visit a ceramic shop, see the Cloth Hall, and learn stories of trade and artisans.

Step into the history of Kraków’s Old Town on a guided 1.5-hour walk focused on handcrafts and trade. Begin at the Barbican, where your guide introduces the medieval walls and the Royal Route, once the main path for merchants. Continue along Floriańska Street, hearing about guilds and crafts that shaped the city’s prosperity.

Visit a traditional ceramic shop on Sławkowska Street to discover Bolesławiec pottery and enjoy free time to browse. The tour then leads to the Main Market Square, where the Cloth Hall has stood as a hub of commerce for centuries. Inside, explore stalls filled with amber jewelry, textiles, glass, woodwork, and folk art.
