Day 1 – Schindler’s Story & Płaszów Memorial Site

Follow the story behind Schindler’s List on a guided walk through the streets and neighborhoods where Krakow’s wartime history unfolded.
Begin outside Oskar Schindler’s former enamel factory on Lipowa Street. Learn how Schindler used his factory, connections, and position to help protect Jewish workers during the Nazi occupation.
Continue through Podgórze, the location of the former Nazi German ghetto, and see authentic places connected with both historical events and Spielberg’s famous film.
